Naksha is a daily India map quiz. We keep as little about you as the game needs, and we never sell it or use it for advertising.
Without an account
- Your rounds, stats, streak, settings and a random player ID are saved in your own browser (local storage). Clearing your browser data removes them.
- If you finish a Daily Challenge, your score, player ID and username go to the leaderboard. If you join a group, your player ID is added to that group.
- If you submit a question, we store it with the first name, state and email you typed, your player ID and the date, so we can review it. If it's featured, your first name and state are shown with it in the game.
If you sign in with Google
- Google tells us your Google account ID, email address and name. We never see your password.
- We store your Google account ID, email and player ID together, and the rounds you finish, so your progress follows you to every device.
- We set one cookie,
naksha_session, to keep you signed in for up to 180 days. Signing out removes it. - If you subscribe to Pro, we store your plan, the date it's paid until, and the subscription and customer IDs from our payment provider, Paddle. Paddle handles your card or UPI details and billing address; Naksha never sees them. Paddle's own privacy notice covers what it keeps.
Where it's kept
The site runs on Vercel, and leaderboard, group and account data is stored with Upstash (Mumbai region). They process it only to run Naksha. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record.
